I’m having so much fun knitting these gloves! For years I’ve shied away from knitting gloves, thinking they’d be too difficult but they’re not at all. I love seeing the fingers knit up, one by one.

After much searching I’ve found a product that provides relief for the cramped hands and in extreme cases, carpal tunnel syndrome, that some knitters and spinners experience. I use pure Arnica salve for relief from the swelling and pain. The best product I’ve discovered is this one from Gaia Garden: http://www.gaiagarden.com/products/salves/18116

My Dogpaw Shawl is complete! Shown here with one of the dogs, Billy, from whence the dog hair fiber came.
