My Top Three Knitting Podcasts

November 14th, 2007 by BJB

As far as knitting podcasts go, Brenda Dayne’s Cast On is the mother-of-all knitting podcasts. I’ve been enjoying her shows for some time. http://www.cast-on.com/. I recently discovered another podcast I enjoy every bit as much called Christa Knits. She’s podcasting from Vancouver, Canada, where she creates and teaches knitting design and works in a local store called Three Bags Full. The focus of her show is primarily design and her interviews are fun and informative. She also features some awesome Vancouver talent. I loved the Canada Day poetry reading by Shane Koyczan. http://christagiles.com/blog/wordpress/

Knitter’s Uncensored is great fun to listen to. This show is produced by 3 ex-pats living in Germany. A Canadian, an American and a Thai. Not only do they provide lots of information on European yarn trends but by listening to their show I get a glimpse into life in another country. Their laughter makes it fun to listen to and their sometimes racy comments keep it interesting. http://knittersuncensored.blogspot.com/
