ewetwo at etsy

July 14th, 2008 by BJB

The ‘two’ in ewetwo refers to my daughter and myself. We live 1200 miles apart and our newly launched etsy shop is another way to stay connected across the miles. At the moment my daughter is somewhat of a silent partner as she is very busy attending summer classes at college.

I, on the other hand, am in that glorious teacher state of being on my summer break, for 2 whole months! This allows me the time to play with fibre and dyes, creating yarns which we are offering for sale at ewetwo

Scroll down the sidebar at the right to view a selection of photos of our yarn.

Sock Yarn

This handpainted sock yarn is 80% wool, 20% nylon. The colourways were chosen from the winter collection of Washfast professional dyes. These colours are perfect for anyone wanting to get a headstart on their winter sock collection.

Chunky Weight

I purchased this Shetland roving from Spunky Eclectic and spun it into a chunky weight yarn, perfect for a toque or mitts. The dark blue dyed over natural grey fleece gives this yarn a deep, rich colour.

Jewellery

These are one of a kind fused glass pendants. Two of the pendants are sold on their own and two include a silver plated chain.

As time goes on we will be posting more handspun and hand dyed yarns, as I continue in my fibre induced state of summer bliss.

We look forward to hearing from you!
