I’ve finally finished knitting the Silk Printed Cardigan for my daughter. I’m not sure why but this sweater was a challenge for me. Perhaps it was knitting with Bamboo yarn for the first time, or maybe it was having to follow a graph for the bodice pattern at this time of year. The last 2 months of school are challenging for any teacher and tend to render my brain incapable of the simplest task!

Whatever the reason for my struggle, I’m very happy with the result, as is my daughter. This Bamboo Yarn from http://sarahsyarns.com/SY100PctBamboo.html is lovely and soft with beautiful drape. The price was right too. I bought 9 skeins but 6 would have been enough. The yardage is very good for this yarn and my daughter now has enough leftover to make herself a tank top or something similar.
