Vintage Pattern 3/Cuddly Baby Shawl
February 8th, 2009 by BJB
ThisĀ cuddly-hour baby shawl would be a labour of love for some lucky newborn. I haven’t knit the pattern myself but wonder if it might work as a woman’s shawl as well?

Where did you get the pattern?
The pattern comes from a very old Beehive knitting book that was my mother’s.
Hi please could you help me to find this pattern, I don’t know where to buy it from? or can you down load it from somewhere? Can anybody help?
Kind regards,
Yasmin
The pattern is posted on this site. Go to ‘Patterns’_ click ‘Previous Entries’ at the bottom of the page_ and the shawl should come up on the next page. Follow the link for ‘Cuddly Baby Shawl’ and the pattern should download. Let me know if doesn’t work and I’ll look into it. It did work for me just now.
My grandmother knitted this shawl for my birth. I still have the blanket, but the original pattern that she used has been lost. I, myself now an avid knitter, have been searching for this pattern ever since I took up knitting a few years ago. Thank you for posting this.
You’re welcome!
